Operations Manager - Therapist Acquisition
Leading the way in digital mental healthcare, Unobravo stands as a trusted and empathetic ally in people's lives, caring for their mental health and supporting their personal growth. From the very beginning, our daily mission has been to revolutionize society's perception of mental health by breaking down the stigma surrounding it.
At the core of Unobravo's success is our exceptional team, committed to providing accessible, high-level care anytime, anywhere. With more than 2 million therapy sessions, we have positively impacted countless lives, promoting psychological well-being and helping individuals overcome life's challenges.
To take our company to the next level, we are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our Operations team: this position is an opportunity to shape innovation in the mental health industry, leading our solutions to make a global impact. We seek someone hungry to break barriers, fuel our global expansion, and transform the way we address mental health challenges in the world of work.
💻THE ROLE
As an Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Operational Intelligence. In this role, you'll lead and grow a team of 5+ talented professionals, collaborating closely with other Operations Managers across different focus areas.
Your mission? To take our Therapist Acquisition team to the next level — evolving it from a traditional recruitment function into a strategic, data-driven engine that drives real business impact.
Therapist acquisition is at the heart of our growth, and your work will directly influence our ability to scale and deliver care. You'll be responsible for optimizing our acquisition processes, managing costs, and ensuring we continuously attract top-tier therapists to meet our ambitious goal of hiring ~1,000 therapists per year.
You will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 5+ members, providing guidance and support while collaborating with other Operations Managers to drive results.
- TP Hiring Process: Manage the full therapist acquisition process, from receiving applications to conducting individual and group interviews. This includes handling all administrative tasks and ensuring smooth onboarding in collaboration with the Community Success team. Ensure the process is streamlined and all documentation and legal requirements are met. Focus will be on integrating new therapists efficiently, preparing them for success within the platform.
- Strategic Therapist Acquisition: Evolve the therapist acquisition process into a strategic, data-driven function. Lead efforts to improve the efficiency of the acquisition funnel at every stage, ensuring that targets for therapist quality and quantity are met.
- Channel Management & Optimization: Leverage attribution models for managing paid channels, ensuring that budget allocation is optimized for the highest ROI (lowest CAC).
- Incentive Programs Management: Lead and enhance programs such as the referral program and "member-get-member" initiatives. Work with external vendors and negotiate terms to drive acquisition through these channels.
- Funnel Management & Optimization: Manage and refine the entire therapist acquisition funnel, adjusting targets and optimizing each step to increase the quality of therapists and maximize the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- OKR Responsibility & Product Steering: Guide and collaborate with product squads to automate and improve the therapist acquisition process, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Additionally, drive the related Key Results (KRs) at the tribe level, focusing on retention to integrate process improvements that enhance both acquisition and long-term therapist engagement.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance of therapists within the community, creating processes for performance tracking, incentives, and offboarding. Collaborate closely with Clinical and Legal departments to manage therapists based on performance metrics.
- International Development Support: Be the primary operational contact for markets in Spain and France, collaborating with local teams to ensure consistency and alignment of therapist acquisition strategies and processes across regions.
⚙️YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU ARE:
- Proven experience of 5+ years in operations, acquisition, or recruitment management, ideally within a digital health or fast-growth company.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using data to drive strategic decisions.
- Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
- Ability to manage and optimize funnels, with a focus on high-quality talent acquisition.
- Experience with budget management and cost optimization, especially for paid acquisition campaigns.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Clinical and Legal teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
