To take our company to an international level, we are currently looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join our Legal Team.
💻 AS A PUBLIC AFFAIRS MANAGER YOU WILL:
- Prepare the necessary materials for institutional meetings.
- Organize and participate in meetings with institutional referents (MPs and Government), representing the company and the main issues related to mental wellness.
- Follow parliamentary works and report to the different areas of the company the main regulatory changes in the sector, assess possible risks and opportunities.
- Periodically update corporate governance, including the CEO, on key legislative news.
- Create synergies with internal company teams on possible cross-cutting activities and avoid silo approach.
- Manage the relationships and activities of consultants to support public affairs activities.
- be responsible for the drafting of position papers, amendments, and parliamentary questions.
- Organize and participate in meetings with institutional contact of the Order of Psychologists, at national and regional level, and with third parties to guarantee the company's accreditation and positioning
- Represent the company in activities with industry associations, both national and European, by participating in working groups. Create and maintain relationships with third parties and similar businesses to identify potential synergy and opportunities.
⚙️YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF:
- Previous working experience in public affairs role or lobbyngs firms, preferably with demostraded experience in health care sectors (7/8 years).
- Knowledge of the legislative political process and ability to analyze policy developments and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and navigate a fast-paced, ever-evolving scale-up environment, adapting to rapid changes and shifting priorities.
- “Doer approach” with a strong bias for action, capable of taking ownership and driving the ideation, creation and implementation of initiatives from zero to one.
- Ability to work under stress and in crisis circumstances
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects across different teams to carry out activities with a widespread impact on the company, such as establishing valuable partnerships or analyzing data to develop impactful narratives.
- Legislative drafting.
Given the nature of the role, which involves close collaboration with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and institutional partners, the selected candidate must be based in Rome to facilitate direct interaction and engagement with key stakeholders.
